i hope band yest was fun for you guys. even if some of you don't agree, good job to those who conducted the games. although you guys were pretty unprepared and stuffs but things happen.

so. again. incase some of you don't know/forgot/whatnots. 1st of FEB is our test on ross roy.so start brushing up on yr notes and rhythms. i know we've just started touching this piece bt you guys are producinga nice sound, except for the fact that some parts which are supposed to be together are not gelled properly.
so during the next sectionals. do it properly.
SLs make sure yr section can play eevry part together. THEN you can expect others to gel with you.
once you are done with gelling yr notes and stuffs, practice with another section which has the same parts as you do. so then you'll improve.

majulah on monday. reporting/falling in time is 7.10 outside the band room.

U guys might want to come in ur PE attire as there would be a rehearsal for MUSTER PARADE.

first of all.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OF YOU!

we had a sort of great year, maybe? i'm not sure.

but we did get bronze for syf, and it's alright.

because afterall, gold/silver/bronze? all of it will tarnish.

but at the end of the day, you knwo it's the struggle, and not the prize, which matters.

in a few months time. all of us sec fours in the commitee will step down, and it's going to be the sec threes in charge. i just want to tell you guys, a position is not an accomplishment. no point leading a band if you don't have a good relationship with the members.

anyway. i'm here to update you guys.

we will be playing majulah on the 2nd week of school, Monday 7th Jan 08.

as per normal, reporting time is 7.20 am outside the band room. although i suggest you guys to come earlier if you are not confident on playing yr part well. we have to play well since it's the first time the sec ones will hear us. first impression, my dears.
