Hi all, Upcoming exams good luck, STUDY HARD HOR. Sec 1s. THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP TODAY. 1 whole hour spent watching the parade. TO all members : Those who didn't borrow their instrument home today, please meet at the band room at 730am on monday. For the sec 1s, i didn't tell you about this, but you guys are also required to borrow your instruments home too. Happy day and sad day for all. Sec4s leaving, except for a few whos gonna come back for the competition. Sec3s are all officially up for their post. Memorial day for all. Congrats on a sucess passing out parade. Appluade for your new Student Conductor(SC), he took 2 days to know everything. Percussion and the rest of the band, GOOD JOB! Money for RI concert, those who hasn't hand in the money, please pass the money to Mdm Fazilah. NO MAJULAH ON MONDAY. BUT REMEMBER TO BORROW YOUR INSTRUMENTS HOME. Hi all, Money for the RI concert. 1stly, its COMPULSARY! Our 1st outing this year. 2ndly, remember to pay the money by Friday. For main band (people playing for the Passing Out Parade), On friday, REMEMBER bring your 1st attire. That means : -white long sleeved shirt. -black bottoms. -black socks-black shoes. -girls, socks, half-knee-length. -boys, socks, no ankle nor non-black socks. For sec 1s, i heard that some of the sec 1s heard of news that there is no band for you guys on friday. Let me clarify with you that there IS band practise for you guys. If you are unsure of what to wear, either your full SCHOOL uniform or your half uniform (PE shirt, school bottoms - recommended to wear for this day) will do just fine. For BOTH main band and sec 1s, fall in ouside the computer lab at 430pm SHARP. The main band is to be in their 1st uniform already (white top, black bottoms). Please excuse yourself from your class if your class is too slow on tying up the ribbons, take some time to change AND fall in at 430 sharp. For sec 1s, just fall in outside com lab 1 at 430 sharp also.This is the HCI band's website : http://www.hciband.org/media. Hello all, raiyan here. So today went through kanata spring and blue sky march. By now, your section should have decided the distribution of parts when the seniors leave. On friday, the sec 4e5n are officially playing for the last time. (unless they come back). The brasses had wet weather rehearsal. Flaws were kept at the minimum. Forgive me for hiccups or mistakes. On friday, REMEMBER bring your 1st attire.  BAND PERFORMANCE-family day carnival '07 i, farahleez nor deana, drum major of CCKWINDS,from year '07 to '08, would like to congratulate the new set of admin members. you rightfully deserve the post. and don't think that whatever that yuo all got has anything to do with me. not everything was set by the two previous majors and therefore, i hope you guys dont get the thinking that i'm biased. anyways, i will definitely miss you guys. every single one of you. from the shy ones to the hyper ones ,even to the attention-seeking ones. each one of you. each one of you made up the band. you guys shaped the band, and i'm not gonna forget all of you. i hope even after i leave, you guys continue with you weird antics. continue with the uniqueness of your own self that made up the character of the band. no doubt you can improve, but i like it just the way it is. i haven't even left the band officially and i'm feeling the tug somewhere at the bottom of my heart because i've had a thing for this band. despite the problems you've always mangaed to come up with. i've grown accustomed to the way the band works i've grown to like the childishness and everything about the band that i find i thard to stop going. i've grown accustomed to people who won't listen. you know i will miss all of you. zhan fei, kelvin, you guys are a given. i'll definitely miss all of you. because in three years, i've learnt alot out of this band. i've made alot of new friends, i've learnt how to be a leeader. since i was in sec 1, i've had every possible memory etched in my mind. and in sec 2 when you guys started joining it made the band a nicer palce. i looked forward to every band practice because why? its because of allll the people in it. the people who made my three + years in the band a meaningful and a memorable one. with that i'll end it here. remember you guys are unique. remember you guys make up the band. most importantly, remember to enjoy yourself. because at the very last day in sec 4, i'll assure you your cca is one of the things you'll miss.

Congratualtions to those who have been selected to become part of the band admin for the year 2008. All the best in carrying out your duties. Today, we did alot of things. Kanata spring is improving. However, some of the parts that mr ong has gone through were forgotten. Again, if this happens, then we will never reach our goal because we keep forgetting our mistakes. That's what pencils are for. Write. Write. Write. Then practice the parts during your sectionals. Remember, practice makes permanent. So as per normal, Majulah on Monday be outside the bandroom by 7.10. For sec ones, the next band practice is on wednesday, fall in outside comlab 1 by 2.20. A good question from one of the sec ones is , when should the sec ones play majulah. We will get on to that as soon as possible. And oh, please fill up the consent form and return it ASAP. This is the first time we are going to a public concert this year. Ok. That's all. Okay. we know some of you are totally relieved that there is no POP rehearsal today. Anyway, we hope that you remember and wright down all the things that Mr Ong wants to be improved on. We don't a case whereby you forget and we would never reach our goal as we keep being "almost" there. So remeber. Anyway, Blue Sky March sounded very pleasant today. We hope the 3 hours of full band won't go to waste. As usual, Friday, fall in outside com lab 1 at 1.50. Plus,plus, we hope that all of you stay healthy. Exams are near and we don't want you to be sick! =) |

Ok. This wednesday, 16 April, band as per normal. Report outside ComLab 1 at 2.25. Take the initiative to be on time so we can start on time. Be prepared for POP rehearsal again. I don't know whether there is rehearsal again but just get ready your scores. A few reminders while in the parade square. 1) Always look infront. 2)Look at the conductor. 3)No wearing of hand accesories. 4)Only listen to the conductor and nobody else. 5)If instructions are not clear, don't be afraid to ask. 6)Always sit 1/3 of your chair. 7)Basically basic discipline. Btw, all the best for napfa for people who haven't take it. For people who have took it, we hope you have done well. Those who fail, try,try and try again =) |

From now on Raiyan will update for the sec ones while Izzah and Benjamin will update for the Senior Band. ONLY FOR SEC ONES There won't be band this friday , 11 april. The next band practice is on Wednesday. |
