Yo ppl! A few important announcements that concerns all of u, so pls open ur eyes. Pls do not miss out any impt details.

Firstly, a piece of bad news. Band practices nxt week(1st week of sch) have all been cancelled :( Sad rite...i noe. so pls go home straight after sch on Wed 1 July n Fri 3 July. U might wanna record it down.

Secondly, lets thank whoever who changed the blog skin into this colourfully decorated, fresh n attractive blog.

Next, u might wanna record it down too. There will b a concert named "In Concert 2009" presented by Yio Chu Kang Secondary School.

Their repertoire includes pieces such as "Two Symphonic Movements for Band" by famous Czech-American composer Václav Nelhýbel, "Animation Medley" by famous japanese composer Joe Hisaishi which includes themes frm animations released by Studios Ghilbi such as "Spirited Away", "Howl's Moving Castle", "Princess Mononoke", "My Neighbour Totoro", "Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind" and "Laputa: Castle in the Sky". The band will also be presenting this piece entitled "Les Misérables" by famous french composer Claude-Michel Schönberg and there will also b a special item presented by their Alumni Band.
I assure u that this concert by a Gold band would be especially enjoyable n fruitful 4 u. Of cos, this is definitely, totally optional. So, any1 who is interested in this music-filled concert, pls inform any of the teachers in-charge or any of the majors by 30 June. Thx a lot ppl :D
